"Animals Only" Conference on Global Warming hosted by Animal-Internet.com

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 8, 2007 -- Animal Internet (http://Animal Internet.com) is holding a conference on global warming with a unique twist - participation is limited strictly to animals. Fish, birds, sheep...they're all here, chiming in with their thoughts and fears on how global warming will affect them.

Animal Internet is a humorous social networking site whose membership is restricted solely to animals. Their mission is to give all animals a virtual soapbox to express their opinions. Visitors will find members of every species discussing world events, participating in polls, sharing photos, and leaving comments on the posted animatorials (editorials written by animals.) Although the membership is restricted to animals only, humans are encouraged to browse.

The site is the brainchild of Casey, a golden retriever who is the site's founder and CEO. Casey lives with Billiam Coronel, an Emmy-winning human who has written for the Academy Awards and "Family Guy" among a dozen other shows. Because of Animal Internet's strict No Thumbs Policy, Billiam is not allowed to join the site himself but admits to occasionally giving Casey notes on grammar and joke construction. Many of the site's animals have relationships with humans who work as award-winning writers and comedians.

Although this is the site's first animals only conference, more are already in the works. Future topics will include immigration and gun control.
